Bucs great Dave Parker set for Uht

The Erie SeaWolves announced late in Monday’s game that outfielder Dave Parker, who helped the Pittsburgh Pirates to their last World Series title in 1979, will make a July 5 appearance at Jerry Uht Park.

Parker, nicknamed “The Cobra,” will be part of a special meet-and-greet session 90 minutes before the SeaWolves’ 7:05 p.m. contest against the Akron Aeros. For $25 per person, fans can be partake in a pregame autograph session with the 1978 National League Most Valuable Player, an all-you-can-eat buffet dinner in the SeaWolves’ picnic garden and a box seat for the game.

Parker also will sign free autographs during the game’s first hour. Only one autograph per person will be permitted, with posed photos prohibited.
