Thunder rolls into Uht Park

Although the Erie SeaWolves play in the Eastern League’s Western Division, they’ll have a say in who leads the Eastern Division by the end of their six-game homestand.

Erie’s stint at Jerry Uht Park will consist of two three-game series against Trenton and New Britain. The SeaWolves, who were idle Monday, go into Tuesday with a 27-28 record.

The Thunder arrive in Erie first. The New York Yankees affiliate is tied with New Britain atop the Eastern standings at 32-23.

Trenton swept Erie when they played three times last week at Waterfront Park.

Each game between the SeaWolves and the Thunder have first pitches scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The probable starters are: Trenton RH Brett Marshall (6-2, 2.44 ERA) vs. Erie LH Ramon Garcia (3-4, 4.98 ERA) on Tuesday; LH Vidal Nuno (0-1, 0.00) vs. RH Zack Segovia (5-5, 5.88) on Wednesday; and RH Mikey O’Brien (2-1, 3.65) vs. LH Jared Wesson (4-2, 5.83) on Thursday.
