Morrow expected to make rehab start against ‘Wolves
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Brandon Morrow is expected to make a stop in Erie Wednesday on his way back from an oblique injury. Morrow left a June 11 start against Washington and has spent nearly two months on the disabled list. He is 7-4 this season with a 3.01 ERA and has 67 strikeouts to only 24 walks.
Morrow made two starts with Class A Dunedin over the past two weeks and will make two starts with New Hampshire. He has allowed one run and eight hits over six innings in two appearances for Dunedin. Erie begins a three-game series with New Hampshire Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. before Morrow is schedule to make his third rehab start Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
