Nick Castellanos’ stock has risen quickly for the Detroit Tigers and he will get a chance to make the big league club in spring training. Castellanos is on the list of 17 non-roster players invited to spring training with the Tigers. The list includes several former Erie SeaWolves, including James McCann, Ryan Robowski, Michael Morrison, Kenny Faulk, Daniel Fields and Don Kelly.

The other invitees are Trevor Bell, Shawn Hill, Jose Alvarez, Curt Casali, Brad Davis, Argenis Diaz, Eugenio Suarez, Kevin Russo, Matt Tuiasosopo and Tyler Collins.
