Kennedy Catholic grad Reimold agrees to 1-year deal with Orioles

Nolan Reimold, a Kennedy Catholic graduate, avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract with the Baltimore Orioles, the team’s website reported Friday night.

The Baltimore Sun’s Dan Connolly reported the contract was worth $1 million.

Reimold was a second-round draft pick in 2005 out of Bowling Green.

The outfielder hit .313 with five home runs and 10 RBIs in limited action for the Orioles last season. He spent most of the year on the disabled list with a herniated disk in his neck, according to the team’s site.
