Resolution time for the baseball season

It’s the new year, so it’s the season for resolutions.

Well, I’ve already made some — and broken some, too, in the few days of 2013.

With that in mind, I’m interested in hearing your baseball resolutions for 2013.

Here are some I’d like to see:

– The Pirates spending more money on payroll (yeah, an obvious one).

– Hall of Fame voters keeping Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens and Sammy Sosa out of Cooperstown.

– Hall of Fame voters electing Craig Biggio.

– The Cleveland Indians making more interesting trades and signings.

– A whole bunch of Buck Nights for the Erie SeaWolves.

– An Eastern League championship for the ‘Wolves, too.

– More wild-and-crazy spending/trading by the Toronto Blue Jays.

– Bud Selig retiring this season.

– Pirates general manager Neal Huntington making a smart trade or free-agent acquisition.

– Rick Green (follow me on Twitter @ETNrgreen)
