Detroit Tigers second baseman Hernan Perez may not be coming back to Erie this season. Perez was optioned to Triple-A Toledo this afternoon after Omar Infante was cleared to return to the Tigers. Perez, 22, made his 2013 Tigers debut on July 9 and remained with the Tigers for more than one month. He hit .214 with one triple, five RBIs and 10 runs scored in 21 games. Perez spent most of the season with the Erie SeaWolves, hitting .301 with 28 doubles, 35 RBIs and 45 runs scored in 87 games.
