No longer silent….
james-speaks

The 2008-09 NBA MVP, LeBron James, talked with reporters about his future Sunday.

After not speaking to the media following Cleveland’s Game 6 loss to the Orlando Magic that eliminated the Cavaliers from the playoffs in the Eastern Conference finals, LeBron James spoke to reporters at Cleveland Clinic Courts in Independence, Ohio, on Sunday.

In short, James said he finds it difficult to congratulate a team after a loss and will take time to be with his family and not think about hoops. James also said he sent Orlando center Dwight Howard an e-mail to congratulate him for advancing to the NBA Finals.

Howard and James were teammates on the U.S. national team team that won the gold medal in the 2008 Summer Olympics.

With James being eligible to become a free agent after next season, some say he’ll bolt to New York to play for the Knicks. Other say he’ll stay in Cleveland.

What do I say?

Cleveland better make a major move to get a major star, particularly one who can do work in the post, to play beside James because that’s what the Cavs need to win a championship next year.

Then just pray that’s enough to convince James to stay.
