LeBron speaks…

These things are always entertaining.

LeBron James spoke for about 10 minutes before the game to media. Now you’ve got national media here like ESPN and of course TNT is covering the game so there’s plenty of folks to ask last season’s MVP questions.

Some of them are good. Others are weird. Some made James respond, “Ya’ll want to know every damn thing. man. Damn. I’m just saying, dang. You can’t have no secrets.”

Here’s a few examples:

Most interesting place he saw when traveling around the world promoting his book and movie: London.

James was asked if the team has a routine ready for the game introductions. In the past, Cleveland has had some entertaining game introductions: “We’re quick thinkers in the locker room.”

With Boston adding Rasheed Wallace, Marquis Daniels and the return of a healthy Kevin Garnett, James was asked about those three guys and he spoke about how those guys help the Celtics.

James addressed the notion of the team finding chemistry considering the Cavaliers have added Shaquille O’Neal, Anthony Parker and Jamario Moon: “As far as us meshing and having that rotation down and having the same momentum going into every game like we had last year may take a little bit of time because we have so many new guys. (Losing assistant John Kuester to Detroit will affect this as well, James added).

FYI: James also would like to have West back as soon as possible.

He talked about how the Celtics and Cavaliers have a bitter situation between the two teams. In last week’s preseason game in Columbus, a skirmish broke out.

James talked about feeling “old” at 24. He’s in his seventh season and said he finds himself giving rookies advice.

He also said he wants to become an 80-percent free throw shooter. He’s a career 73.8 percent free throw shooter. Last season, James shot a career-high 78 percent from the line.

As for what made him say “Ya’ll want to know every damn thing.” Some asked James about a sign and asked if it was a Kung Fu sign.
