When you’re in the media, you get to know guys from other markets both regional and national.
So you show love when you see them.
The one guy I have to talk to every time he’s at a Cavalier game is TNT NBA anaylst Doug Collins.
That’s my dude right there.
He’s cool. Always ready to go. Loves basketball, but he and I talked about the Cavaliers having four games in five nights to open the season.
After tonight’s game against Boston, they play at Toronto tomorrow, at Minnesota Friday and return home Saturday to face Charlotte.
Collins said that’s often dictated by TV because the networks want to put the good teams on television. Cleveland has nearly 30 national televised games this year.
Thanks for the insight, Doug.
My man.
See you at the half.
