Gansey sparks BayHawks to win…
Mike Gansey wasn’t taking any chances Wednesday night.
With leg wraps on both of his calves and a stimulator on the bruised right one, Gansey scored 25 points in leading the Erie BayHawks (11-15) to a 95-94 win against the expansion Springfield Armor (5-17).
In the five games Gansey missed due to injury, the BayHawks are 2-3. In the games he’s played, they are now 5-1. Now understand that each win Erie has had with Gansey in the lineup has been against teams with losing records.
If Erie can win at Maine (15-9) Friday with Gansey, that will be even more significant because the BayHawks are 0-4 against the expansion Red Claws.
