Two sides to a trade….

Rob Kurz (shooting) and Alade Aminu were traded for each other on draft day. Both played in the All-Star game.

Erie made its third trade this season in shipping D-League All-Star rookie power forward Alade Aminu to Bakersfield for shooting guard Blake Ahearn, a 2009 league All-Star.

Here’s a look at how players in the two previous trades have fared this season.

Nov. 5 — Traded Rob Kurz’s draft rights to Fort Wayne for Alade Aminu’s draft rights on draft day. The Mad Ants selected Aminu in the first round. Since then: An All-Star forward, Kurz is averaging 18 points, 10.3 rebounds and shooting 52.7 percent from the field, 46.6 percent from 3-point range and 81.1 percent from the free throw line in 27 games. Aminu is averaging 12.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and shooting 51.1 percent from the field, 62.9 percent from the line in 37 games. He attempted one 3-point shot.

Dec. 31 — Erie traded its first-round pick, guard Donell Taylor, to Idaho for guard Mike Gansey. Since then: In his 21 games with the Stampede, Taylor is averaging 22.8 points, 7 rebounds, 4.6 assists and shooting 50.7 percent from the field, 42.1 percent from 3-point range and 78.8 percent from the line. In his 17 games with the BayHawks, Gansey is averaging 17.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and shooting 43.4 percent from the field, 30.4 percent from 3-point range and 80 percent from the line.

D-League teams can make seven roster moves. The BayHawks have made seven, team president Matt Bresee said Tuesday.

Dec. 18 — Acquired point guard Cliff Clinkscales/Waived rookie shooting guard Zach Sowers.
Dec. 31 —  Taylor-Gansey trade.
Jan. 4 — Acquired point guard Brooker Woodfox/Waived small forward Martin Zeno.
Jan. 11 — Acquired shooting guard Frank Tolbert/Waived Woodfox.
Jan. 29 — Acquired point guard Tyc Snow (Cedric Jackson was on an NBA call-up with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Clinkscales had an injured ankle).
Feb. 25 — Reacquired rookie power forward Kyle Goldcamp, who the team released Feb. 5 due to medical reasons/Waived Snow.
March 2 — Aminu-Ahearn trade.
