All-American Collins making D-League debut tonight…
First it was Scottie Reynolds.
Now it’s Sherron Collins’ turn to play in Tullio Arena for the visiting team.
Collins will be the second All-American point guard to face Erie when the Maine Red Claws play against the BayHawks tonight (7 p.m.). The Charlotte Bobcats sent down Collins, an undrafted rookie out of Kansas, to the D-League.
Reynolds was first when Springfield played at Erie. The Armor and BayHawks split two games. Reynolds averaged 21 points in the two games against Erie.
Take a look at Collins scoring 32 points in in the NBA Summer League.
