The Erie BayHawks went 2-2 on their four-game road trip by winning both games at Fort Wayne and losing at Sioux Falls and expansion Canton.
With nine games left, Erie (22-19) is in the playoff hunt, but has a stretch of games that will either seal its playoff fate or put it in position to secure a spot. The BayHawks play Canton, which leads the East Conference, Thursday and go on the road for two games at Dakota on Sunday and Monday before taking on Iowa on Tuesday.
Yep. Back-to-back-to-back
Erie was previously scheduled to have three days between its Monday game at Dakota and its next game against Fort Wayne on March 30 at home, but it has to resume the game against Iowa that was postponed due to the court being deemed unplayable by the referees.
Rough.
