Daniels back with BayHawks as a practice player
Power forward Erik Daniels rejoined the Erie BayHawks as a practice player after two previous stints with the D-League team.
In Erie’s 2008-09 expansion season, Daniels, 30, averaged 21.1 points and 10 rebounds. He returned late in the 2010-11 season and averaged 14.3 points in 12 regular-season games. He averaged 19 points in the postseason.
The BayHawks (1-0) will have to waive a player to add Daniels. They have a full 10-man roster. The BayHawks play at Canton on Friday night before playing their home opener Saturday against the Charge.
