This is old news, but I couldn’t decide what to say about it.

You’ve got two cameramen fighting (or at least building up the courage to) right outside where the NBA and its players union had met last week to negotiate a new collective bargaining agreement.

Now that I’ve seen it a few times, here’s my reaction:

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Too funny.

“The thing that Maureece has to understand and realize is that this is a process.” – Erie BayHawks coach John Treloar discussing Maureece Rice.

Combo guard Maureece Rice found it much harder to score in the NBA Summer League this year than he did in the D-League this past season for the Erie BayHawks.

Process.

He just hopes Maureece Rice doesn’t lose focus of that in his pursuit of playing at the highest level.

Rice saw limited action for the Cleveland Cavaliers during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas this week.

The police allegedly found suicidal notes at the scene where New York police subdued Jayson Williams with a stun gun Monday.

It’s hard to believe that at one time, Jayson Williams was one of the most beloved players in the NBA.

Had the big personality. Big desire to get rebounds.

Now he’s in even bigger trouble.

The latest involves him allegedly trashing a suite “in a suicidal rage” and having to be subdued by a stun gun.

For those who don’t know, Williams was an All-Star center with the New Jersey Nets before suffering a career-ending injury in 1999.

He faded out the public eye before getting charged with reckless manslaughter in the death in February 2002 of a chauffeur. Williams even tried to make a comeback in 2005 in the CBA for the Idaho Stampede, which is now in the D-League, but failed to make back in the NBA.

Now with his retrial coming up in the manslaughter case, Williams is in even more trouble. Is this as bothersome to you all as it is to me?
