Around the outdoors
A few outdoors-related stories you might have missed in the Erie Times-News over the past couple weeks:
- This has been an unusually good summer of fishing at Pymatuning Reservoir.
- The Edward John and other charter boats offer great opportunity to catch yellow perch in Lake Erie.
- Campgrounds are reporting a surge in business this summer.
- There’s nothing unusual about a new Ducks Unlimited chapter being created. Except Sgt. John Chrzanowski, chairman of the Lake Erie Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, created one in Iraq.
- Gun owners in the city of Erie now have 72 hours to report weapons lost or stolen before facing fines and/or jail.
