Do women make better shooters?

Do women make better shooters? Christine Longnecker’s a case study for the theory. The 19-year-old Erie native is a NRA junior rifle distinguished expert, one of just eight shooters to earn that title in the past 20 years at Gem City Gun Club.

Gem City instructor Joe Paradisi said women are more receptive to learning and to being patient. “Boys and young men have a tendency to say, ‘I know’ or ‘I understand’ instead of just listening,” he said.
