More on Erie’s Peregrine Falcons

Jimmy Marz, who took some terrific photos of the American Peregrine Falcons that are inhabiting the Blasco Library stack, has traced the birds’ origins through their bands.

Marz’ research shows that the female was banded in Buffalo in 2007 and the male was banded in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in 2008.

Check out Jimmy’s photo site for more about the falcons as well as a look at his other work.
