Darren Collins shot an 8-point in Erie County on the first day the 2011 rifle season. The deer had an 18-inch spread and weighed 170 pounds. “It was a very special hunt,” Collins said, “because my 11-year-old daughter was sitting with me and my son was hunting nearby. It will look very nice hanging beside the fireplace.”
