Plop into the AcroBag at Peek’n Peak (video)

Peek’n Peak Resort & Spa will become the first U.S. resort to host an AcroBag appearance for skiers and boarders to attempt aerial tricks Feb. 14-19. There will be a Progression Session Feb. 18 with pro coaches available.

AcroBag is giant, air-filled landing bag used by athletes from mountain bikers to skiers to try tricks before attempting them in competition.

Helmets are required for those who wish to jump. Waivers must be signed by participants before jumping, and a parent’s or guardian’s signature is required for jumpers under 18. Waiver forms are available at www.pknpk. Competition and jump fees are required, as is the purchase of a daily lift ticket. Jump tickets may be purchased at the Pizzaiolos Italian Restaurant & Sports Bar ticket window in the Sugar House.

Tuesday’s session runs 1-9 p.m. Two jumps cost $15 and all-day unlimited jumps cost $20.

The Feb. 18 session runs from 1-4 p.m. Two jumps cost $20 and all-day unlimited jumps cost $25.
