Your outdoors weekend: Feb. 4-5

Looking for things to do outdoors this weekend? Try one of these activities:

1. Visit the Snowflake Festival Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Audubon Center and Sanctuary, 1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown, N.Y. The day includes presentations with live birds, visits with reptiles and amphibians, sled dog demonstrations, horse-drawn sleigh rides from noon to 4 p.m., shopping, trail walks and more. Cost is $5, and free for children under 12. Sleigh rides are $5 for ages 13 and older and $2 for 5- to 12-year-olds. For information, call (716) 569-2345.

2. Practice bird identification, learn about animals in the winter, and take a guided snowshoe walk Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Pymatuning State Park, 2660 Williamsfield Road, Jamestown, Pa. There’s no cost. For information, call (724) 932-3971.
