Presque Isle deer hunt application process starts Nov. 5

The application process starts Nov. 5 for the annual deer hunt at Presque Isle State Park.

The combined antlered and antlerless deer hunt will take place Dec. 5-7.

Individuals who want to participate can apply on Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the park office at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, 301 Peninsula Drive, officials said. The deadline to apply is Dec. 4 at 2 p.m.

Eighty-five people will be allowed to hunt on each of the three days using shotguns with slugs, black-powder muzzleloaders or archery equipment, officials said.

For information, call the park office at 833-7424.
