A 3D archery shoot Sept. 2 at Mound Grove Golf Course in Waterford Township will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

Outpost Archery and Mound Grove, 10760 Donation Road, will put on the handicapped-accessible 30-target shoot from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the back nine of the course. Nearly 100 archers are expected to compete. Golf carts will be provided for disabled veterans at no charge.

Entry fee is $15. All proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project, which “provides programs and services to severely injured service members during the time between active duty and the transition to civilian life.”

After the shoot there will be an all-you-can-eat barbecue dinner for $10 in Mound Grove’s bar and grill/banquet hall. Anyone who completes the course will be entered in a raffle for a 2012 Hoyt bow.
