The conservancy will have a presentation on the value and process of protecting scenic, environmentally important land through conservation easements. The AVC, which owns three properties and holds three more in easement protection in the Franklin region, “is dedicated to preserving properties with these conservation values in order to keep them in their natural state and available for everyone to enjoy.”
Two Venango County landowners will be on hand to talk about their experiences: Jim Holden, president of the Allegheny Valley Trails Association, and H. William White.
Light refreshments will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
