Villa Maria graduate Kayla McBride was named to the first Big East Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after an impressive start to her season.

In two games for the No. 7 Notre Dame basketball team, McBride had 34 points, 12 rebounds and five steals. The Fighting Irish beat Ohio State 57-41 and Massachusetts 94-50.

Notre Dame will host Mercer on Tuesday at 7 p.m. before heading to California to play UCLA on Friday at 3 p.m.
