General McLane graduate Sarah Hansen is coming off a 26-point effort Monday in Florida Gulf Coast University’s 70-48 victory over East Tennessee State University.

Fans can watch Hansen online on ESPN3 today at 5 p.m. when Florida Gulf Coast takes on Lipscomb (Tenn.).

Hansen, a 5-foot 10-inch junior guard, is averaging 16.9 points per game, good for second in the Atlantic Sun Conference. She has scored in double figures in 23 of the Eagles’ 25 games.

She ranks second in Florida Gulf Coast history with 1,307 career points and is closing in on the leader, Adrianne McNally (1,415), Hansen’s former teammate.

FGCU (20-5) has the fourth-longest winning streak in the country at 14 games. The Eagles also have won 34 consecutive games against A-Sun opponents, including 31 in a row during the regular season.
