Three members of the 2012 U.S. Olympic wrestling team will appear this week at the Edinboro World Class Wrestling Camp and Heavyweight School on the campus of Edinboro University.
Today the camp welcomed Jake Herbert, who wrestled at 84 kg for the 2012 U.S. Olympic team and was a 2009 silver medalist at the World Championships. Herbert is a former PIAA champion from North Allegheny and a two-time NCAA champion at Northwestern.
On Tuesday, Jake Varner, a gold medalist at 96 kg in the London Games, will visit the camp, which is conducted by Edinboro athletic director and former four-time Olympic medalist Bruce Baumgartner and Edinboro coach Tim Flynn. Varner was a two-time NCAA champion at Iowa State.
Tervel Dlagnev, who placed fifth at 120 kg at the 2012 Olympics, will make an appearance at the Edinboro camp Wednesday. He was a two-time NCAA Division II champion at Nebraska-Kearney.

Wrestlers have been visiting the Edinboro campus since mid-June. Baumgartner noted that competitors from 19 states, including Texas, Florida, and Colorado, will participate in the camp this week.
