Penn State safety Malcolm Willis answered questions following a 24-14 loss to Ohio at Beaver Stadium on Satuday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions were up 14-3 at halftime in their season opener but gave up 21 unanswered points in the second half to lose to the Mid-American Conference school for the first time in six games against the Bobcats.

At Thursday’s media day, Penn State senior linebacker Gerald Hodges, senior center Matt Stankiewitch and sophomore receiver Allen Robinson talked about the team moving forward, having names on the back of jerseys and adjusting to players leaving school after the NCAA sanctions.

Penn State opens this season Sept. 1 against Ohio at Beaver Stadium.

Here are highlights of Merrimack’s 60-3 win against WPI last Saturday. Edinboro will take on the Warriors out of the Northeast-10 Conference Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sox Harrison Stadium.

The 60 points Merrimack scored was a school record for most in a single game. The Warriors had 540 yards of total offense and forced six turnovers.

The Scots won their season opener, 30-16, against West Liberty (W.Va.) on Saturday. The Scots scored 21 points in the second half in beating West Liberty in an opener for the fourth straight year.
