Art & Sole 5K and weekend racing options

There was a nice post by the Erie Times-News‘ Catherine Cloutier about the Art & Sole 5K (May 5) over at her Volunteer Erie blog. Check it out here.

Weekend racing

There are a couple races this Easter weekend:

* Run for a Cure, a 5K in honor of National Parkinson’s Awareness month, will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. The race starts at the Rotary Pavilion at Presque Isle State Park and proceeds benefit the American Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.  More details & an application can be found here.

* Prep for Pittsburgh 1/2 Marathon & 5K is Saturday at 10 a.m. at Goddard State Park in Sandy Lake, Pa. — little over an hour from the Erie area.  More details & an application can be found here.
