There’s a nice story on page 1A in the Erie Times-News today about Olympic hopeful and Erie native, Sheena Gordon.

Gordon, a McDowell Senior High School graduate, will compete in the triple jump at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials that start today at the University of Oregon. Qualifying for her event takes place Saturday, and the finals are Mondays.

It’s an inspiring story worth reading. Here’s hoping Sheena makes the cut!
