Here are a few photos (By Janet Kummerer/Erie Times-News) from the Her Times 5K photo shoot for the story I wrote in Her Times last month.

All of these women/girls did the Her Times 5K as their very first race ever. Then, they got hooked and kept on running. In fact, most of these ladies have since gone onto run at least a 1/2 marathon. Karen Manganaro, the woman in teal to the right of me in the photo below, just ran BOSTON.

And, it all started with a little women’s 5K. How awesome is that?
