Marathons that make you go hmmmmm…

For the veteran runner whose done-them-all or the newbie looking for bragging rights, there’s the HydroWorx Underwater Marathon in nearby Hershey in September. Reserve your treadmill today.  Making this whole thing even weirder, is the fact that it’s being held at a craft brewery.

Running drills can help improve your form, strength and flexibility which will, in turn, improve race times. I found this video with simple drills anyone can do:

Winners do quit

This video is not the greatest quality, but it’s proof that sometimes winners do quit…to help a friend.  I have great respect for athletes like this, but you know I tend to be a compassionate competitor, which I’m well aware annoys many hardcore competitors (which makes it all the more fun, I guess).

Usain Bolt takes a flower girl for a cool down jog:

In Usain’s defense, this girl was just, um, stupid. Hello? Who runs out in front of a train, even if it is slowing down at the station? He could’ve went all diva on her, but chose to be a gentleman.
