Candlelight trail run Friday night

Paul Brady, local runner and race director for The Chase 5K, is on the hunt for more runners for his Candlelight Trail Run on Friday night.

The race, a 5K run/walk starts (and finishes) at 7:30 p.m. at the Harborcreek Township Municipal Building (5601 Buffalo Road in Harborcreek).

The course is run mostly on paved roads, but a portion of it (probably a mile total) is through the woods on a nice dirt trail (even terrain, fairly wide path, slight incline).

Entry fees are $20 (day of race price now) and the run is a fundraiser for the St. James Athletic Department/Cross Country team.  T-shirts for everyone (cool panther logo) and medals for the top three male/female finishers in 10-year age groups.

For more info on the race, contact Paul Brady at (814) 476-9041 or pbmax86@yahoo.com.

As the The Chase race slogan says….Don’t just stand there, Chase something!
