Reuse laces

Killed another pair of running shoes? Pull the laces out before you toss them. Erie Times-News reporter Dana Massing tells you why. (Word to the wise: considering the laces are from running shoes that may have seen a bit of sweat falling from above, you might want to toss them in the washer first. )

Shooting (up) for Gold

Just in time for the start of the Summer Olympics,  The Atlantic has come out with a complete guide to the Drugs of Olympic Doping Scandals. Initially, I rolled my eyes, but once I clicked, I found it fascinating to learn just exactly WHY they use certain drugs and what it does for them.

Color Rhonda Rad
