More Tatt talk

After last Friday’s post about running-theme tattoo, I heard from a couple more inked runners:

“This is my tat (above).  The words are Gaelic for born a runner and the Celtic knot represents inner strength.”
— Rob Kolodziejczak

“I did my first half marathon last July 2011 in Erie.  I was bummed with no medal to hang with the rest of my medals.  Soooo, I got a medal of my own tattooed(spelling) on the top of my right foot.  I see it every day and it reminds me of the hard work I put into training for that race.  It’s a charm with 13.1 in center and there is a flower on each side.  The flower on each side is a Japanese Cherry Blossom representing “Life”.  Love it. People say everyday, what’s that tattoo?  Why do you have a number on your foot? I’m proud to share the training and accomplishment with them.  After I’m done talking with them the look is one of you are nuts 13.1??? I laugh to myself thinking one day I will put 26.2 on the other foot.
