Want to streak with me (and Runners World) this holiday season?

Runner’s World magazine

I’m thinking about streaking this holiday season.

I’ve never streaked before (well, you know…with running clothes on, anyway) and the truth is, lately I’ve been a pretty big proponent of rest days, but….something about the Runner’s World Holiday Running Streak appeals to me.

Run at least 1 mile every day from Thanksgiving through New Year’s. Check out the FAQs here.

I’m not sure if it’s the mental challenge of running every day, the fact that it’s only a mile, the fact that I’ve never done anything like this before or….the fact that it’s the holidays and, frankly, I’m going to have a few more calories to burn off on a daily basis, but….I do think I’m going to give this a try.

I’m starting my streak with the ERC’s Turkey Trot on Thursday and I’ll end it with the ERC’s New Year’s Day 5-Miler.

You in?
