The Mercyhurst College men’s hockey team’s season ended Saturday night with a 5-4 double-overtime loss to Canisius in Game 2 of their Atlantic Hockey Association quarterfinal series at Mercyhurst Ice Center. The Golden Griffins won the series 2-0 to advance to next Friday’s semifinals at Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, N.Y. They won all four meetings with the Lakers at MIC this season.
