OTTERS UPDATE: Sadikov not in Otters’ current goaltending plans
Ramis Sadikov is scheduled to arrive in Erie on Thursday. He should be on the Tullio Arena ice for Friday’s workouts.
But right now, the overage goaltender isn’t part of the Otters’ plans.
Sadikov heads to Traverse City, Mich., to play for the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL Prospects Tournament. “We’re told they’re very interested,” said Sherry Bassin, Otters managing partner and general manager. The Otters have three others goaltenders in camp – veterans Chris Festarini and Tyson Teichmann and 2011 draft pick Devin Williams.
