CAMP CORNER: Lattavo foregoes enforcer role, leaves camp

RW prospect Thomas Lattavo, who made his OHL debut with the Erie Otters as a call-up late last season, survived the second round of cuts late Friday night. Yet he has chosen to leave training camp after not accepting the club’s decision that he serve as the team’s enforcer.
Lattavo said he didn’t want to ignore the offensive side of his game. Lattavo was unsure where he would play this season. That leaves the Otters with 34 players in camp.
