CAMP CORNER: Otters cut 7 more prospects, 3 FAs survive

The Erie Otters cut seven more players from training camp late Friday night, including free agents Khadyn Butterfly, Nolan Dunn, Cameron Etherington and Jeff St. Pierre. That leaves two free agents that still have a chance to make the team – RW Cristiano DiGiacinto, Matt Marsden and LW Fabrizio Ricci. The other players released from camp were Gregory Allen (6th-round pick, 2011), C Jordan Dunin (7th round, 2011) and G Cosimo Lazzarino (9th round, 2013).
A total of 34 players remain in camp heading into Saturday’s exhibition opener against Niagara at Mercyhurst Ice Center.
