OTTERS UPDATE: Brown, McDavid & Pelech chosen to play in Subway Super Series

Erie Otters forwards Connor Brown and Connor McDavid and defenseman Adam Pelech were selected to play for Team OHL in the two-game Subway Super Series. The games against the Russian National Junior Team will be played Nov. 21 at General Motors Centre in Oshawa, Ontario, and Nov. 25 at Sudbury Community Arena in Sudbury, Ontario.
Brown entered Thursday’s schedule leading the league with 31 points (11 goals, 20 assists), while McDavid was tied for third with 28 points and stands atop the list with 23 assists. Pelech ranks among the top 10 defensemen with 13 points (five goals, eight assists).
The Russian team also will face Team QMJHL on Nov. 18 in Gatineau, Quebec, and Nov. 20 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The annual event concludes with games against Team WHL on Nov. 27 in Red Deer, Alberta, and Nov. 28 in Lethbridge, Alberta.
