Former Erie Otters defenseman Chris Breen, who finished his OHL career last week with Peterborough, has signed a tryout contract with the Abbotsford Heat, the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames. Find out more by clicking the link.
Breen had no goals, 15 points and 49 penalty minutes in 76 games with the Otters after being acquired from Saginaw in October 2008 in the Jordan Skellett trade. The Otters traded Breen to the Petes on Oct. 22, 2009, for defenseman Derek Holden.
