Fort LeBoeuf quarterback B.J. Arrowsmith won our informal poll of readers this past weekend as the Week 2 top football performer in District 10.

Arrowsmith has led the Bisons to a 2-0 start as they head into Friday’s Region 4 opener at Northwestern.

On Friday, the 6-foot, 175-pound junior passed for 220 yards while helping the Bisons to a 29-8 victory over St. Macellinus of Ontario, Canada. He completed 11-of-16 attempts and threw three touchdown passes — all to wide receiver Corey McWilliams. Arrowsmith did not throw an interception.

In the season opener, Arrowsmith completed 8-of-13 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown in a 17-14 win over Slippery Rock. He connected with McWilliams twice for 91 yards, including a 14-yard TD. Arrowsmith also had a 1-yard TD run.
