The McDowell and Cathedral Prep water polo teams meet Thursday in the first of two regular season duals. The match will start at 8:30 p.m. at Gannon University’s Carneval Athletic Pavilion.
The loser will have one less day to wait for the rematch, originally scheduled Oct. 7. It now will take place Oct. 6, following a 7 p.m. match between the McDowell and Villa Maria girls at McDowell Intermediate High School’s natatorium.
This won’t be the first time McDowell and Prep have met this season. The Trojans beat the Ramblers 15-7 on Sept. 4, held during McDowell’s season opening tournament.
