Fairview’s Peter Jackson ran for 249 yards — his third consecutive game with at least 227 yards rushing — to lead District 10 rushers. Strong Vincent’s Brandon Akins-Jones scored four touchdowns in a win over East. Those were among the highlighted top performances Friday.

We’ve added two players from Saturday’s games — Iroquois’ Jake Szoszorek and General McLane’s Nick Lombardo.

  1. Tom says:

Aaron Horton, he barely played the whole game and had to overcome sickness but still ran all over saegertown.

  2. guest says:

When a player has 3 consecutive games rushing for over 200 yards, how can you not vote for Pete Jackson?

    Aaron Horton

  4. Jim I. says:

Aaron Horton all the way. He ran past 1000 with that 8th game of the season with two regular season games to go, plus with how far the Lakers are going to go into the post season. He is going on track to shatter Jayson Nickson’s record.

  5. Mike says:

Pete Jackson has been the workhorse for Fairview ever since Jared Lane was sidelined with hamstring injuries.
He’s a target, yet has 3 straight games with over 200 yards? Hard to believe.
