Fans can vote for the Breakout Volleyball Player of the Week on the top right corner of the page. Voting continues through Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. with the winner being featured in Thursday’s edition of the Erie Times-News. Nominations are based on results called into the Erie Times-News. Fans are encouraged to submit nominations of players by Saturday night and coaches are encouraged to call in every result throughout the season. Players who have won the award this season are no longer eligible.
Rachel Lasecki, Warren – had a big week in a four-set win over Eisenhower and four-set loss to Titusville. Lasecki had 17 kills and 2 blocks against the Knights before collecting eight kills, nine digs and one block against the Rockets.
Heather Reichenback, Harbor Creek – drilled 23 kills in a five-set loss to Iroquois.
Jennie Fustine, Villa Maria – had 15 assists and five digs in a four-set win over Strong Vincent.
Challen Litwiler, Linesville – collected 17 kills in a sweep of Cochranton before getting 18 kills and 10 digs in a sweep of Conneaut Lake.
Hailey Thompson, Fairview – had 25 kills and 6 blocks in a thrilling five-set win over North East.
Leah Vensel, McDowell - dished out 23 assists in a sweep of Mercyhurst Prep.
Lindsey Jahn, General McLane – had a solid week including 12 digs, nine kills and six blocks in a four-set win over Iroquois.
Jasmine Elizon, Saegertown – dished out 27 assists in a sweep of Union City.
Hannah Kondrlik, Corry – had 30 assists and 11 digs in a sweep of North East.
