Fans can vote for the Breakout Basketball Players of the Week on the top right corner of the page. Voting continues through Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. with the winner being featured later this week in the Erie Times-News. Nominations are based on results called into the Erie Times-News. Fans are encouraged to submit nominations of players by Saturday night and coaches are encouraged to call in every result throughout the season. Players who have won the award this season are no longer eligible.
Boys
DeAndrye Henderson, Strong Vincent - Henderson hit a jumper with six seconds left to give the Colonels a 62-60 win over Struthers in the Battle of the Border. Henderson finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds. He also scored 25 points in an 80-70 win over George Junior.
Nafis Brown, George Junior – Scored 24 points and dished out nine assists in an 81-50 win over Campbell Memorial. He also scored 21 points in an 80-70 loss to Strong Vincent.
Dwayne Canady, Mercyhurst Prep – Had 18 points in an important 49-41 win over Fairview after coming back from injury.
Andre Jefferson, Sharon – Scored 24 points to lead the Tigers to a 70-59 win over Titusville. He also had 24 points in a 77-65 win over Farrell.
Mike Jones, Greenville – Had two big-time baskets in a 56-55 double-overtime win over Mercer. Jones scored at the buzzer in the first overtime to force a second and scored with 2.4 seconds left in the second to secure the win.
Jaymon Mason, General McLane – Scored 24 points, including 8-of-9 from the free throw line, to lead the Lancers to a 74-47 win over Central Tech. He also had 21 points in a 47-29 win over Girard.
Sheldon Zablotny, Cathedral Prep – Had 19 points in an important 65-56 win over McDowell.
Joey Zoltowski, Harbor Creek – Scored 19 points in an important 51-50 win over Fort LeBoeuf.
Preston McMeans, Warren – Had four 3-pointers on his way to 27 points in a 79-54 win over East.
Matthew Dogan, West Middlesex – Scored 20 points in a 92-16 win over Commodore Perry.
Aaron Lundmark, Eisenhower – Had 20 points in a 60-45 win over Conneaut Valley.
Eugene Husband, Central Tech – Scored 20 points in a 53-49 win over Harbor Creek.

Kaitlyn Fromknecht, McDowell – Scored 20 points in an impressive 75-52 win over Aquinas Institute (N.Y.).
T.L. Wreh-Wilson, General McLane – Connected on two free throws with one second left to give the Lancers a thrilling 48-47 win over Warren.
Alexis Bowen, North East – Drilled four 3-pointers on her way to 24 points to lead the Grapepickers to a 58-36 win over Fort LeBoeuf. She also scored 17 points in a 62-30 win over Corry.
Leslee DiFucci, Girard - Had 12 points, nine rebounds and six steals in a 46-30 win over Sharon.
Jenna Placzek, Hickory – Collected 14 points and 12 rebounds in a 52-18 win over Central Tech. Placzek also scored 19 points in a 64-22 win over Titusville.
Alex Ricketts, Kennedy Catholic – Scored 23 points in a 93-28 win over Rocky Grove.
Sarah Graham, Seneca - Had 19 points, including three 3-pointers, in a 66-22 win over Reynolds. She also scored 15 points in a 40-37 win over Conneaut Valley.
McKenzie Popatak, Sharpsville – Collected 25 points and 11 rebounds in a 50-49 overtime loss to Slippery Rock. She also scored 20 points in a 49-45 win over West Middlesex.
Elysha Chrzanowski, Mercyhurst Prep – Had 14 points and 10 rebounds in a 64-47 win over Warren.
Jessica Burnett, Greenville - Scored 27 points in a 58-55 win over Farrell.
Cierra Stovall, East – Had 23 points to lead the Warriors to their first win over the year in a 51-34 victory over Strong Vincent.
Hayley Andres, Franklin – Dropped 20 points in a 79-50 win over Slippery Rock.
