The District 10 Class A, AA and AAA semifinals will take place Tuesday. Here are the sites for the three brackets.
Class A Semifinals
At Sharon High School
Kennedy Catholic vs. Cochranton, 6:30 p.m.
West Middlesex vs. VisionQuest, 8 p.m.
Class AA Semifinals
At Penn State Behrend’s Junker Center
Mercyhurst Prep vs. Saegertown, 6:30 p.m.
At Meadville High School
North East vs. Lakeview, 6:30 p.m.
Class AAA Semifinals
At Penn State Behrend’s Junker Center
Warren vs. Girard, 8 p.m.
At Meadville High School
General McLane vs. Hickory, 8 p.m.

How can there be two sets of games at Meadville High School 2 at 6:30 and 2 at 8 pm?

North east gets pounded by lakeview

It’s easy to understand your bad. You would think since Cochranton was a region champ and had a first round bye, they would be rewarded with a game at Meadville in boys A. Instead, District 10 in their infinite wisdom, rewards Kennedy Catholic (their favorite) with a game at Sharon HS. Their team could WALK to this site, while Cochranton will be on the bus for close to an hour.
Right on Adam! Kennedy’s small seating gym also gets several D10 playoff games… really? that’s the best we can do for a gym? maybe there’s more to it I really don’t know… no one on district 10 committee from Kennedy Catholic right? Greenville girls are a higher seed than Girard but will still travel 45 minutes while Girard can walk there…

I was shocked that Girard is at Edinboro and not Meadville and Mercyhurst Prep has to go to Meadville instead of Edinboro.
But, Girard is a solid 30-35 minute drive to Edinboro. That would be a tired team if they walked there.

I think the location was more about North East, than Cochranton. NE should have been made to drive to Sharon.
Tom, Lakeview played at best above their average. Fairview played at their best. LHS -Fairview was the defensive battle we all expected. North East will be a much different game for Lakeview.
