Central Valley star makes Tom Lemming’s top 100

High school football recruiting guru Tom Lemming has announced his top 100 recruits in the country for the class of 2013. McDowell star Greg Garmon made the list last spring. Central Valley star Robert Foster is the only Pennsylvania player to make this year’s list. Foster, a 6-foot 3-inch, 190-pound wide receiver, is No. 15 and is entertaining numerous Division I offers, including Florida, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Michigan, Rutgers, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Virginia, West Virginia, Alabama and Oregon.

Area fans may remember Foster from his exploits as a sophomore against Cathedral Prep. The Ramblers beat Central Valley 31-21 in the PIAA Class AAAA quarterfinals. Foster was limited to 34 rushing yards on seven carries and 49 receiving yards on four catches. He did score one touchdown on the ground.

There are four players from Ohio on the list, including four-star recruit Courtney Love, a 6-foot 2-inch 228-pound linebacker from Cardinal Mooney. McDowell will travel to Youngstown State to take on Cardinal Mooney on Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
